Rogers Park: Stabbing on Jonquil Terrace

Police are investigating a stabbing in Chicago's Far North Side, Rogers Park neighborhood.

At approximately 9:12 p.m., a woman dialed 911 at least three times, screaming for an ambulance, according to police dispatch.

The emergency call came from a first floor apartment at 1618 West Jonquil Terrace, near Jonquil and Marshfield, said authorities.

Preliminary information indicated a male was stabbed at the West Jonquil Terrace address.

Police removed a 3 or 4-year-old child from the apartment and it appears a female was taken into custody.

The stabbing victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, in unknown condition.
