4-car accident, crash on Dan Ryan


At 9:50 p.m., a major car accident was reported on the Dan Ryan Expressway.

According to police dispatch, the four-car crash occurred where the Dan Ryan intersects the Stevenson Expressway.

That puts the accident between West 24th Place and West 25th Place, and Canal and Halsted Streets.

Injuries were reported.

According to a Twitter user, she was almost hit trying to avoid the collision.

"Omg a huge crash in front of me on the dan ryan. Scariest moment of my life. Almost got hit by everyone avoiding it! Pheww!"

    The death of Ryan was really a shocking one, since he died because of a car crash. May he definitely rest in peace.
