18-year-old James Shorty of Momence, Illinois, has been charged with raping a woman on Chicago's Far North Side... and it looks like he isn't the first person in his family to be accused of such a heinous crime.
On Wednesday, December 19, 2012, around 5:45 a.m., Shorty, a Kankakee County resident, sexually assaulted a 50-year-old woman near the CTA Morse Red Line station in Rogers Park, said police.
According to investigators, the former Elgin High School student grabbed the woman by the throat, dragged her to a nearby construction site, beat her, raped her, and stole her clothes and her purse.
During the assault, Shorty allegedly threatened to snap the woman's neck if she continued to scream.
Authorities said DNA evidence links the 18-year-old suspect to the crime.
Citing various news reports, Shorty, who has been charged with aggravated sexual assault and felony kidnapping, was out on parole when the incident occurred.
Sadly, it appears James Shorty isn't the only alleged rapist in his family.

During one of our infamous investigations, we located a Tramaine Shorty, who was arrested for aggravated criminal sexual assault back in February of 2011.
Tramaine is currently serving a 20-year sentence at the Western Illinois Correctional Center in Mount Sterling, Illinois.
As you can see, Tramaine and James bear a striking resemblance. An anonymous source, who asked not to be identified, swears the men are indeed related.
Chicago News Report reached out to the convicts' family members for their reaction. So far, none of them have responded to our inquiries.
So the ghettos from other areas come to Rogers Park to rape women. It is like it is a magnet for these animals.

@ 3:30am - Not that they're any reliable source but Wikipedia did tout Rogers Park as "the most diverse neighborhood in the U.S." but looks like it has been removed. Furthermore, when I moved to $hitcago 7 years ago my new neighbor (a 40+ y.o.) native mentioned R.P.'s same claim to fame as we were driving through. I wasn't impressed then either, and I'm not now.

That does not make the news any more since it is 1-3 deaths in a go and not 20 at once. Black crime is back ground noise but the numbers add up to a bigger body count in total.
I'd take my shot at the slim odds of one crazy as shit mental patient shooting up a school room of kindergarteners at some time in the next decade being the smart money vs the odds on the beast shooting/stabbing or robbing people in the urban setting far more frequently as the likely cause of a greater number of total deaths and injuries.

If the mother of the shooter locked her gun cabinet, those kids would have been alive in that one instance. The jigs were still gangbanging and menacing with their tools of the trade that day and subsequent days after Sandy Hook. Not that I blame them for that. 18-year-olds come to Chicago expecting that the city is safe, except for the South and West sides. But Rogers Park has gone to hell over the past few decades. For many years, the bad element was confined to Juneway Terrace and the Howard 'L area. Now the crime is much more pervasive over a much wider area.
