The stabbing occurred around 12:26 a.m. at 5820 North Sheridan Road, near Sheridan and Ardmore, said police.
According to authorities, a 49-year-old man was stabbed once in the back.
The stabbing was said to be domestic-related.
The injured man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in unknown condition.
