A woman's purse was stolen in Chicago’s Lincoln Square community, said police.
At approximately 6:53 p.m., a woman’s purse was snatched near the intersection of West Lawrence Avenue and North Rockwell Street, said authorities.
The offender, who was described as a male of unknown race, was wearing a black knitted cap and a dark-colored coat.
The suspect was last seen running westbound through a north alley near Lawrence and Rockwell, said police.
Investigators said the crook stole a tan Coach purse containing the victim’s keys, wallet, and credit cards.
