Injured man found in North Side cemetery

Police were called to a Lakeview neighborhood cemetery after someone reported an injured man inside.

Late Wednesday night, at approximately 11:39 p.m., police arrived at Wunder’s Cemetery.

A man who was reportedly struck with a baseball bat was lying on the ground.

According to a responding officer, the injured man was located on the property near North Seminary Avenue and West Byron Street.

Firefighters and paramedics were able to get through the cemetery’s gate around 11:46 p.m.

At the time of this report, the man’s condition was unknown and it wasn’t immediately clear what he was doing inside the graveyard.

  2. Thats odd. Even if there are scumbags lurking the cemetery at night with baseball bats, why was some citizen in there with them?

    Probably some stupid goth/vampire/fruitbowl ritual gone wrong...
