VIDEO: Cab driver attacked outside Near North Side restaurant

Video dated October 9, 2011, documents a fight between an alleged taxicab driver and two male subjects on Chicago's Near North Side.

The cabby, seen a red shirt with white stripes, was kicked and punched by two white male attackers outside Tempo Cafe at 6 East Chestnut Street, near Chestnut and State Street.

The motive behind the attack is unknown.

The street fight comes to a complete stop after several men intervene.

The good citizens who recorded the video (sarcasm alert), tried to keep the brawl going by encouraging the men to fight one on one.

WARNING! THIS VIDEO CONTAINS VIOLENCE AND OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE.

  1. Its incredible how many people forget to turn their camera phone sideways, to film in the proper aspect ratio. Seems like the type of mistake someone whole stole their iPhone would make...
