A man fell into the water along Chicago’s lakefront, around 9:30 p.m.
According to police dispatch, the man went into the water near the Chicago Yacht Club at 300 West Belmont Avenue.
Prior to being rescued, an eyewitness said the man was "trying to hold on".
Emergency workers pulled the man from the water around 9:35 p.m.
The man was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.
