Several children go missing at North Side beaches
Several days after a man allegedly tried to kidnap a little boy at North Avenue Beach, several children were reported missing at two North Side beaches.
According to police dispatch, three children, in separate and unrelated occurrences, were reported missing at Foster Beach, 5200 North Lake Shore Drive in Edgewater.
One of the children, a 2-year-old black boy, was eventually reunited with his family.
However, a 9-year-old Hispanic boy was still missing as of 2:33 p.m. It’s unclear if the boy was ever returned to his family.
Around 3:52 p.m., a third child, described as a 2-year-old Hispanic boy, was reported missing.
The child was last seen wearing a blue shirt and light blue shorts, said police.
He was returned to his mom around 4:14 p.m.
At 5:23 p.m., an off-duty police officer found a 4-year-old Hispanic boy standing near a concession stand at Montrose Harbor, 601 West Montrose.
According to the off-duty cop, the child was wearing swimming trunks, no shirt, and no shoes.
At the time of this report, police were trying to reunite the boy with his family.

Apparently these worthless parents don't give a damn about their children.
ReplyDeleteAll three children were back with their families after awhile. Thanks to the work of the cops.
ReplyDeleteThat's a relief. I'd like to know what those parents were doing while their children were wandering off.
ReplyDeleteRach, thanks for the update.
ReplyDeleteWow! I really wonder what their parents were doing they were so dumb how would you let your children play or whatever by thereselves!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, "lost" children were found all over the city today.
ReplyDeleteA 5-year-old black boy was discovered at Promontory Point in Hyde Park, and two Asian children were found roaming around North Lake Shore and North Cannon Drives.
I guess people were too busy having a good time to look after their own children.
What other information can be gleaned from this report? If these boys are being abducted, and not simply lost due to low quality drunk parents, the man taking these boys is homo/bisexual. Whenever you here of a boy being abducted, think - homosexual; and then try to figure out how 2% of the population can molest so many boys.
ReplyDelete"Apparently they're not parents" (Eminem).
ReplyDeleteMost child molesters molest and abduct children of the OPPOSITE, not same sex. The vast majority of homosexuals do not commit abuse of any sort, either against children or teenagers. That is pedophilia and ephebophilia. Most heterosexuals and homosexuals are NOT pedophiles or ephebophiles.
ReplyDeleteThese children became separated from their families or guardians. It happens all the time. They didn't "go missing." That suggests abduction. They were not, thankfully.
What the hell is wrong with parents now days? I'm glad these kids were simply "lost" but they shouldn't have been "lost" in the first place. Piss poor examples for parents for sure.
