According to one 911 caller, a man was beaten with a baseball bat on 3100 block of North Sheffield Avenue, near Sheffield and Belmont.
Two male Hispanics and a female Hispanic exited a gray or silver van and attacked the victim, said police.
The vehicle was further described as a Dodge van with a possible license plate of L 6 2 3 7 2 4.
Investigators said the car belongs to someone who lives on the 2900 block of North Seeley Avenue.
According to one of the responding officers, the victim refused all police services.

ReplyDeleteThe city needs to step in and make any mob attack a gang charge, so that these idiots do some hard time. Stay in the ghetto and out of our neighborhood. These idiots are taking public transportation here. Bring back the conductors on el trains and put some cameras near the stops. Tunney better get off his duff and do something. Increasing patrol isn't working. Camera's and harsh sentences will be more effective. Enforce those curfew laws. Lets make it a 9pm curfew in boystown. Make the bars increase security so that they have two bouncer's out in front of the bar at all times. Put camera's out in front of those bars. Make the bars use scanners, like the bars downtown, for ID's so there is a record of who is in those bars. Time to stop the PC and take back our neighborhood.
