The crime occurred around 11 p.m. near 4729 South Wabash Avenue. According to an Internet search, the address belongs to a church called Refuge and Strength Full Gospel.
The 17-year-old male stabbing victim’s father called the police after he discovered his son had been stabbed in the back.
No further details were available. Police are investigating.
