Rogers Park: Woman robbed on Devon Avenue

Police are investigating the robbery of a female victim on Chicago’s North Side.

At approximately 10:26 p.m., someone reported a woman calling for help on the 1200 block of West Devon, near the corner of Devon and Lakewood Avenues.

Authorities located a female victim on the 1400 block of Devon Avenue in Rogers Park.

A thief, described as a six-foot-tall black man, forcibly took the woman’s cell phone, said police.

The crook is in his early twenties, has a slim build, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, said authorities.

After the robbery, the criminal fled to the Edgewater area.

Police are investigating.

    " wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants"...this is their standard attire and no one will ever get arrested with this description because it's the ghetto thug uniform, so, another day, this ghetto thug will terrorize another innocent victim and GET AWAY WITH IT!
