Manager and ex-McDonald’s employee fight after worker is fired

Police were called to a Bucktown McDonald’s after a store manager and a recently fired employee got into a verbal and physical confrontation.

The incident happened around 1:05 p.m. at the fast food restaurant at 1951 North Western Avenue.

According to police dispatch reports, a recently terminated McDonald’s employee tried to assault the store’s manager and refused to leave the restaurant.

Moments later, the fired employee called 911 stating she had been “pushed” by the her former manager.

As of 1:42 p.m., it’s unclear if any arrests were made.
