Thieves, armed with guns, broke into a Chicago man’s South Side basement apartment.
The home invasion happened around 2 a.m. on the 7500 block of South Normal Avenue in the Auburn-Gresham neighborhood.
According to the victim, two black men with guns forced their way into his home and stole his belongings.
The thieves took a flat screen television, a cell phone, and a pair of the victim’s shoes, said police.
No further details are available.
Police are investigating.

It's too bad this victim didn't have a gun, like the guy last year who shot that ghetto thug dead who was breaking into his house. Or the old lady who shot the kid throwing rocks at her. Bravo to the people who "equalize" the field. There's a reason why the "Colt 45" was called the "equalizer" and the playing field needs to be equalized.
