Last evening, a Chinese restaurant in the Stony Island Park neighborhood was robbed.
The robbery occurred around 9:07 p.m. at 1511 East 87th Street at the Yale Center strip mall, near the intersection of East 87th Street and Blackstone Avenue.
According to police, during the robbery, a worker at Grand Chinese Kitchen was hit over the head with an unidentified object.
The assailants were described as African-American men in black jackets.
On January 22, 2011, the See Thru Chinese Kitchen at 7613 South Jeffery Boulevard in South Shore, was robbed at gunpoint.
