Early this morning, Chicago police officers performed an exhaustive search for someone who may have been seriously injured in a northwest side Logan Square alley.
A citizen reported apparent blood stains on the side of a garage in an alley behind 2451 North Milwaukee Avenue.
Officers searched for nearly 30 minutes, but never found the source of the blood.
According to an officer on the scene, there were very noticeable blood droplets in the snow, as well.
Authorities believe the injured person may be homeless and cut their hand dumpster-diving.
