Man Shot in the Head Near West Side Walgreens

An 18-year-old man was shot in the head and neck near a west side store.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the Walgreens at 3401 West Roosevelt Road.

Although the media hasn't released the exact location of the shooting, one source confirmed the crime happened at the Walgreens address.

The shooting victim was sitting in a car when the gunman opened fire. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

No further details are available.
