Authorities are looking for two African-American men.
One thief is approximately 25-years-old, 5’11” to 6-feet-tall, and was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and black jeans. He was also armed with a silver handgun.
The second offender is approximately 30-years-old, between 6’2” and 6’3”, and was wearing a black skull cap, a thin black jacket with a sweater underneath, and black pants.
Both suspects fled the scene southbound through a nearby alley.
"Authorities are looking for two African-American men"...now why doesn't this shock me? I say again, these ghetto thugs have NO morals, conscience or love to offer ANYONE! Hell will be crowded!

ReplyDeleteI was discussing the crime in Chicago with a friend the other day. He told me to stop listening to the media, because they always blown crime stats out of proportion. I laughed so hard I think I made him angry.
ReplyDeleteI told him my info does not come from the media. It comes straight from the officers on the streets; it comes from the police dispatchers and 911 callers.
When I asked him if he thought all of those people were involved in a conspiracy to make Chicago look bad... he changed the subject.
You can "slice it and dice it" anyway you want BUT the "description" is pretty much always the same and there will alway be people screaming racism or profiling but how than, do you explain the news, the description and the up swing in crime committed by ghetto thugs? Today, my partner was going over to Walgreens down Glenlake and a white lady asked if she could walk with her because her boyfriend (who is black & a cop) told her she "needed to be careful out there because of all the "N...ers out there robbing and mugging people"..WOW! She said "I'm sorry I used that word, but that's what he said". They were going to the same stores so they walked back together as well. How pathetic that these ghetto thugs instill that fear in people. No wonder people do not want them in our neighborhoods and no wonder people are becoming more and more prejudiced. These ghetto thugs are creating this. Sadly, they just don't get it, don't give a rats ass, hate everyone and are a complete embarrassment to their culture. And sadly, their culture EXPECTS everyone else to do something about it EXCEPT for them. Today, when we were downtown, I told my partner to "pay attention to who is around you, front, back and sides and keep your right hand in your pocket on the trigger of the pepper spray. Again, how PATHETIC!
ReplyDeletetowanda, I have had several friends and family members leave the city because of the crime. My sister moved out of Chicago after she was robbed at gunpoint.
ReplyDeleteIm in Boston right now which has ghetto neighborhoods like 1/100 the size of Chicago's. It is so relaxing to walk around here in Boston without nearly the same fear as in Chicago. I have looked at Boston's crime stats for the neighborhood I am saying in. All I can say is lol! It is so nice to walk around and not worry! I am seriosly realizing what I am missing by living in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteThe north side of Chicago used to be a relatively safe place to live. Even Uptown used to be better than most places on the south side. After Daley closed the projects the crime scattered across the city like pregnant roaches laying eggs everywhere!
ReplyDelete@towanda....a tad bit racist aren't you? Why doesn't it surpise you that they are African-American? I am African-American grew up on the southside and do not personally know any carjackers, gang members, etc. As a matter of fact my circle of friends all have advanced degrees and we are all a byproduct of the Chicago Public Schools. African-American people commit more crimes because they are the largest segment of people that are poor, uneducated in this country. African-American people only makeup about 12% of this country's population, but constitute the most impoverished in this country. I insist that you read a book or do some research before you post blanketed and ignorant comments.
