On December 3, 2010, around 8:50 p.m., a prisoner being transferred from one police facility to another, managed to escape. The criminal is still on the run.
Police are looking for 17-year-old Armando Matos.
Matos was handcuffed and sitting in the back of an 8th district police car on the 3900 block of North California Avenue, when he escaped.
Matos, who was last seen wearing a black shirt and no shoes or socks, has the word “Maya” tattooed on his neck.
