Englewood Man Shot in the Head: 6200 S. Normal Blvd.

This evening, some time after 9 p.m., an Englewood man was reportedly shot in the head and leg.

Police say the shooting occurred on the 6200 block of South Normal Blvd., after a black, Ford Expedition opened fired on the man; striking him in the head and leg.

The gunshot victim was taken to St. Bernard’s Hospital. Surprisingly, he is in stable condition.

At the time of my report, the bullet was still lodged in the victim's skull.
