Man Beaten at CTA Bus Stop in South Side, Woodlawn Neighborhood

A man waiting at a CTA bus stop on Chicago’s south side, was reportedly beaten.
According to police dispatch, at 9:27 p.m., a man was attacked by 10 to 12 men at a CTA bus stop located between the 6300 block of South Drexel Ave. and the 6300 block of South Ingleside Ave. The exact location given for the assault was 853 E. 63rd Street in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood.
After the beating, the offenders fled the scene westbound toward 915 E. 63rd Street. An Internet search indicates the 915 E. 63rd Street address belongs to a Public Aid Department building.
No additional information is available.
