3 People Shot in Chicago's West Town Neighborhood


Around 1:25 a.m., 3 men were shot on the 1900 block of West Division Street, in Chicago's West Town neighborhood, which is a bit west of Lincoln Park.

The actual location of the shooting was 1950 W. Division. An Internet search shows that the address belongs to Gomez Shell Service Center.

According to a Chicago police officer, one man was shot in the leg and the other two shooting victims were shot in the butt.

A motive for the shooting was not provided, nor was a description of the shooter(s).

However, police did say that several shell casing were found at the scene and a vehicle was being processed for evidence.

2 victims were taken to Stroger Hospital and the third was taken to St. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in West Town.
