Uptown mugger flees in Mercedes, says cops

A gunman wanted for a robbery in Chicago’s North Side, Uptown neighborhood, fled the scene in a luxury car, said police.

Around 6:50 p.m., an armed robbery was reported on the 4600 block of North Broadway, between Wilson and Leland.

The offender was described as a black male, about 5’10” and 250 lbs.

The thief, who was reportedly armed with a 9mm handgun, fled the scene northbound on Broadway in a "newer" white Mercedes convertible with a black top, said police.

If you have any information regarding this crime, please contact the police, immediately.

  1. i reported my mercedes sl stolen an hour earlier. i lost my keyless go pass apparently on the curb.
