According to various sources, the incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m., near the intersection of Sheridan and Morse.
Two officers were taken to St Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.
Citing police dispatch reports, cops found drugs inside a vehicle that was involved in the crash.
The car was towed to a nearby police station.
It appears the officers were released from the hospital around 9:54 p.m. However, that information has not been confirmed.
No further details are available.
The car "with drugs inside" probably could have been stopped for expired tags, no back window, no inshowyance, no brake lights and a DUI 2 years ago but we can't "profile" or anything in diversityland ya know. Most likely this tragedy could have been avoided.
ReplyDeleteI hope the two cars were not damaged too badly & will make a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteI cant tell you how many times a day while driving in Rogers Park I have to call one of these idiots a retarded heroin addict. At least 80% of these shitheads are on drugs while driving let alone eking out their pathetic mediocre daily existence. Last week on the way to work I pulled up next to some moron at a red light and he was asleep at the wheel. Fucking losers!!!!
