Chicagoans are fed up with being victimized by lowlife street thugs.
Physically, Linette Kossow pales in comparison to the portly punk who allegedly stole her wallet, but that didn't stop her hunting his trifling ass down.
Early Friday morning Kossow was sitting on a northbound #36 Broadway bus near State and Huron Streets, in Chicago's River North neighborhood, when a thug sitting behind her, grabbed her wallet out of her purse, said police.
Authorities said 18-year-old Jenar Sanders, who is 6'3" and 270 pounds, snatched Kossow's wallet and fled the scene.
So far, there is no indication Sanders got stuck in the bus' doors on the way out.
Kossow, with the help of a security guard and a homeless man (bless his soul), managed to hold the obese suspect until police arrived.
Kossow told reporters that she "snapped", because she is "tired of being a victim".
According to the Tribune, Kossow's home was recently burglarized and her email account was hacked.
Apparently, this isn't big-boy-Sanders' first ride at the criminal rodeo.
Police said the suspected thief's rap sheet includes a misdemeanor criminal damage to property charge and an outstanding order of protection.
We don't what kind of time Sanders will get it, but if he goes to jail, I'm sure the inmates will be glad to see his 18-year-old cakes bouncing through the corridors.

ReplyDeleteThat sucks for her, but a lot of people that got "hacked" really just logged in from a public computer and never logged out. Some even give their passwords out. A twitter search for "My password is" or "My number is" reveals a shocking amount of stupidity.

ReplyDeleteTo the previous poster - Look, I get it that a lot of us on here think that the Phoebe woman is an idiot. Believe me, I do. I read her original comment on here, saw was one commentor put up about her in a reply, saw her efforts to "shame" CNR at the blog she uses, etc.
ReplyDeleteBut this stupid obsession with her, and making up these dumb commentor names followed by asinine remarks, really should stop. It's immature and also feeds directly into her objective of portraying people who use this blog as "evil racists."
Disagree with her all you want, that is fine. Grab comments she's made on other blogs & put them up on here, to show that she is just as biased as any other CNR reader (I especially liked the find about her denying the North Ave. Beach wildings last summer as "rumors started by suburban white boys" - to me, that is proof positive that she is an enabler & a denier who only acknowledges truths that are convenient to her point of view). But enough with bringing her name up, attaching low level stereotypical racial images to her name, and making absurd comments.
I'm certain that she is checking this daily and tracking each and every one of those comments. It's like when people "troll" on websites for the sports team they dislike, the political party they don't approve of, etc. If you stop feeding them with acknowledgements, eventually they will stop their trolling, too.
I JUST saw her walking past McDonald's on Sheridan, she is fat but not as fat as I had predicted.
