Rogers Park: Woman robbed at gunpoint near Jarvis

Police are investigating a Thursday night armed robbery in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, on the city’s Far North Side.

A female victim was robbed at gunpoint near the intersection of North Damen and West Jarvis Avenues, around 9:58 p.m., said police.

The gunman was described as a male black in his 30s wearing all black clothing.

The gunman was in the company of two other males, said police.

One accomplice is of “mixed” race and the other suspect is believed to be “Middle Eastern”.

After the robbery, the crooks fled the scene in a gray Cadillac Escalade, said authorities.

The vehicle was last seen headed westbound on Jarvis toward Ridge Avenue.

At the time of this report, no arrests had been made.
