Cops: Thieves in U-Haul hit Lincoln Park Dominick’s

Two thieves ran off with a substantial amount of merchandise from a North Side, Lincoln Park neighborhood grocery store, said Chicago police.

Around 8:41 p.m., a citizen saw two male whites in a U-Haul truck steal several crates of food and cosmetics from a delivery truck parked at Dominick’s Finer Foods at 959 West Fullerton Avenue, near Fullerton and Sheffield Avenues, said police dispatch.

The box-style truck with a partial license plate of EF, was last seen going eastbound on Fullerton, then Northwest on Lincoln Avenue.

No further details are available.
