On Sunday, December 11, 2011, around 8:30 p.m., a man was reportedly taken into police custody after he took a shower in a condo unit at The Dakota condominiums at 3631 North Halsted Street.
The condo association identified the offender as 24-year-old Julio Villamar.
Villamar, a male Hispanic, is approximately 5’7”, 140 pounds, and has one disfigured ear.
Immediately following the alleged incident, The Dakota Condo Association issued a newsletter warning condo owners to be mindful of security issues.
“Remember: Keep your doors locked at all times, even when in your unit or the building,” said the newsletter, issued by The Building Group, a real estate management company.

According to his online profile, Villamar appears to be quite popular among the Boystown nightclub scene.
In fact, he listed Roscoe's Tavern among his "activities and interests".
I'm sure the owner/tenant "knew" him. Stay clear of these MF's. They're all over out there and I never even respond to their cat calls. They just LOOK like trouble and their behavior doesn't help their cause much either. I don't patronize Halsted St. anymore mainly because of them. Are you really that hard-up guys?

ReplyDeleteThe most recent "scene" was me crossing the street while simply trying to walk by. Overhearing the loudness, I could gather that somebody dundid gotted disteded for being throwd out therefore it was obviously racism, hence the po-po.
Ya'll really know how to party up in this mess. Hence the overabundance of showtunes and no more than 125 BPM - and loitering (even inside the joints).

ReplyDeleteThis should be called Chicago Racist Gossip Report! The CPD report has no mention of Julio breaking in or taking a shower! The ticket was for trespassing nothing more. How can you smear someone's name like this and call it NEWS?? Why was it necessary to comment on his race or ear? What did that have to do with a trespassing ticket? Other than to give your readers with like racial issues food to feed their racially motivated comments and low brow comments on someones physical appearance! Disgusting, grow up!
