At 8:45 a.m., police spotted a white female wearing black clothing and a baseball cap near Dearborn and Ontario.
The female suspect, whose hair was pulled in a ponytail, was steps away from the Chase Bank at 600 North Dearborn Street.
According to police, the 600 North Dearborn Street bank was robbed twice; once back in September, and again last week.
A Chicago police officer who was following the suspect, momentarily lost sight of her.
At 8:46 a.m., the possible suspect was detained at Ontario and State Street.
Officers at the scene were instructed to communicate via their cell phones, because police did not want any additional information broadcast over the air.

I have to assume she would change her clothes and not wear anything similar to her robbery outfit. Especially if she was near the scene of the crimes.
