Cab driver beaten and robbed in West Ridge
A taxi driver was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in Chicago’s West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood, said police.
Authorities said the armed robbery happened Saturday, around 3:17 a.m., near the 6400 block of North Damen Avenue, near Damen and Devon.
The offender was described a male black wearing a black jacket and a black hat.
No further details are available.

This is why the cab drivers don't pick you up. I would never pick up a black person if I was a cab driver unless I had a death wish.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't have happened but the cabdrivers in Chicago are exempt from the law, tax evading hoodlums themselves. They'd have no problem with running over a pedestrian for their tip in the Loop. What goes around, comes around. Keep it real.
