
Firefighters were called to 900 West Argyle Street, between Sheridan and Argyle and Marine and Argyle, to put out the fire.
The fire started in the kitchen of a 5th floor apartment, said an unconfirmed police dispatch report.
At the time of this writing, the magnitude of the fire was unknown and authorities had not disclosed if there were any injuries or displacements.
At 5:37 a.m., the incident was coded a 5090; the police code for damage to personal property, due to fire or an explosion.
