Tina Tuner takes Michigan Avenue
Dorothy Roberson, 55, has been impersonating Tina Turn for about four years. Like Turner, Roberson is from the South and has endured her share of hardships; including a failed marriage.
According to an article written by Time Out Chicago, the Tina Turner wanna-be went back to school at age 53 and obtained a degree in sociology.
Roberson also auditioned for America's Got Talent.

OMG! Such talent performing on our city streets. I saw a guy in a wheel chair last week by Erie & Michigan Ave singing who sounded exactly like Lionel Richie...so much that I asked him if he was really singing. Totally amazing. He got $10 bucks from me for the great entertainment. And this one? Singing one of my favorite TT songs? Where is she so I can "thank" her for the entertainment? We all need to be "helping" them out with a few bucks since they're giving us something in return instead of robbing from us or just asking for a hand out!
