Video: Chicago police officers shoot, kill dogs, suggest burning dead animal?

6th district Chicago police officers are accused of shooting and killing two dogs on Chicago's South Side.

One of the animals was killed for no apparent reason, said an eyewitness.

In a video that was emailed to Chicago News Report, a large group of cops are huddled around what appears to be a crime scene at a yet to be determined location.

As the officers shine their flashlights on the ground, they illuminate what appears to be a dead animal.

According to one of the people behind the camera, the officers shot and killed a dog named Chaos, that posed no threat to them.

Someone, possibly a Chicago police detective, suggested the animal be burned.

"Burn that motherfucker", said a voice among the crowd of uniformed officers.

  2. The video is grainy and pretty bad. I couldn't see much of anything let alone a dog. Did anyone hear a shot? When was the dog shot, before the video started and why wait to start the video then?

Anyhow, there would be hell to pay if that were one of our dogs. Not cool!

  3. Isn't this the incident where the guy released the dogs on the police and one officer was bit? Its common practice for people in that area to articulate things that are not really happening... ie "I'm not resisting...I'm not resisting" while all the time they are trying to get away. Never did I hear a police officers voice on the video.

  4. More "honor roll students" trying to make it out like the cops are the animals. Anonymous 10:58 is 100% correct. If you sick your dogs on the cops, they have no choice but to shoot them.
