28-year-old George Zimmerman, a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain and an alleged serial 911 caller, used a racial slur before he shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin to death, according to newly released information.
An unedited version of Zimmerman's February 26, 2012, 911 call suggests Zimmerman called Martin a "fucking coon" before he shot the unarmed teen to death.
The questionable comment can be heard at the two minutes and twenty-one seconds mark in the 911 recording.
According to Zimmerman, he got out of his car to read a street sign and Martin, who was carrying a bag of Skittles and an ice tea, attacked him from behind; which, according to Zimmerman's own words, is a blatant lie.
Zimmerman told the 911 operator he was following Martin.
At one point, the 28-year-old Florida man, who was arrested in 2005 for suspicion of battery on a law enforcement officer (the charges were later dropped), told dispatch that Martin was running away from him.
An exclusive report from ABC News indicates the 17-year-old boy was on the phone with a female friend, moments before the shooting.
The friend said Martin told her he was being followed by a man who chased him, cornered him and confronted him... a story, that in part, is backed up by Zimmerman's original statement to the 911 operator.
Citing Florida's "stand your ground law", which gives a citizen the right to use deadly force via self-defense, Zimmerman has yet to be arrested or charged with a crime.
In the latest developments, the FBI has agreed to investigate the possible hate crime and a group called The New Black Liberation Militia, has vowed to hunt Zimmerman down and make a "citizen's arrest".
Through a Chicago News Report investigation, we have discovered that several Florida gangs are also looking for Zimmerman.
Every single report I read about this references the guy's bag of skittles. What about that detail makes it so important to show up in EVERY story on the incident? Is it intended to make the guy seem younger than he is? I think its used to make it seem like a child was killed, not a person that was months away from turning 18 and becoming an adult...

Hispanic is not a race, it's an ethnicity. Some hispanic/latino people (Mexicans included) can be racially white. Some even have light eyes and hair. @2:20 in the video sounds VERY, VERY different from the rest of the tape. if that is the same mans voice, he said only those 2 words in a completely different tone of voice than the rest of his conversation.

The bottom line is, if you are attacked you should be able to defend yourself. In some cases that includes using a firearm, as long as it is legally owned and registered.

DeleteWhen i first saw the report on T.V. a few days ago they showed video footage from the area that seemed to show Treyvon's father's girlfriend, (who he was visiting) lives in the neighborhood OUTSIDE the gated community. Zimmerman was also still INSIDE his car when he stated he ran away. he got out to see where he went, and did not sound like he was running himself. reports from witnesses say they saw them strugling(fighting) and treyvon was on TOP of zimmerman. zimmerman states when police arrive that " I was screaming for help"

Zimmerman was breaking no laws by following anyone.

This does not make you seem like an impartial observer who is truly interested in justice. It makes you seem like part of a racially motivated lynch mob.

If you are an innocent bystander just trying to escape from a stranger, then why is concealing your features suddenly a pressing concern? Also, Martin approached Zimmerman while Zimmerman was on the phone with the dispatcher (approximately 0:57 and 1:21 in the 911 recording). If Martin was terrified of the evil fat man, why did he do this? Why did Martin himself not call 911 and bleat in sheer terror, “A fat racist is accosting me!” ?

This is laughably inaccurate. The 911 calls do not “clearly” demonstrate what you claim. It seems almost as if you had already made up your mind about what happened, regardless of the facts.
Eyewitnesses said that it was Zimmerman that was being beaten and crying for help. Zimmerman had injuries consistent with this version of events.

People will hear what they want to hear, or have been told they should hear. It’s the same method as using leading questions to get the answers you want. I listened to the tape several times and it is unclear what Zimmerman said at that point in the tape. It may indeed have been what you say. However, if I not had that suggestion already implanted in my mind before I heard the recording, I would not have immediately jumped to that conclusion. Again, this just goes to show that if liberals look hard enough, they can always find racism, even if they have to manufacture it out of thin air.
And even if it is true, Zimmerman’s personal opinions should have no bearing on his right to defend himself. So, you are just making another attempt to appeal to people’s emotions.
Anyway, here is a question for you: if Zimmerman was such a sinister, murderous racist, why would he bother calling 911 to begin with? Why not just find an opportune moment to secretively gun down Martin and then simply leave the scene? Nobody would be the wiser, the evil racist could cackle with glee and plan his next devious plot to kill innocent minority babies armed with candy.
And finally, while I am skeptical of the claims of the Trayvon Martin defenders, I am willing to listen to facts and re-evaluate my position as new facts (not spin, speculation or exaggeration) come to light. Can you honestly say the same?

ReplyDeleteIt appears to me that Zimmerman’s threatening posture toward Trayvon was met with the only weapon that Trayvon had available to him, which were his fist when he perceived a threat. Now when Zimmerman found that he was losing the fight he was then feeling the threat of being beaten, at which time he gave up on his fist and pulled out a gun.
It also appears that when Zimmerman threatened this already frightened child and ran up on him to bully him the child did what every other warm blooded mammal would do and proceeded to defend himself with the only weapon he had available to him, his fist. Then Zimmerman found out that although this child was small in stature he wasn’t going to be a pushover to beat, so he shot him. Ok. So what is upsetting me about almost all of the comments I have read is that they all refer to something racial or derogatory, either retardation, beaner, hillbilly, blackie or whatever... If we want to stop these hate crimes and the violence around them then we need to stop looking at each other in such judgmental ways. This human being lost his life because of words and ideas like that. Whatever you are and where ever you come from, no one deserves to be treated with disrespect, and no one deserves to be murdered over their ethnicity, social status, mental or physical ability, or race. Period.

This is where they do their best and fan the flames of race riots. this is how they make their money!!!! At the government watering hole. Isn't this a shame they can control our laws and justices to the tune of millions of dollars and the people believe it. This belongs to the law of the land. Not public opinion. Blacks need to be educated and quick looking for a hand out. We might not like some laws but it is the law. If you don't like it change it......
ReplyDeletethough this is late, to the anonymous comment on march 20th of 2012 saying that trayvon was months away from being 18 - he had JUST turned 17. so no, he was not close to being an adult - he was still closer to a 16 year old BOY.

ReplyDeleteAlso, Martin had just turned 17. Zimmerman assumed he was up to no good because he was black, and all the people that support Zimmerman also assume that Martin was the aggressor because he was black. Amerikkka is racist.
