Man beaten during Ravenswood robbery


Around 1:16 a.m., a White male, said to be in his 40s, was beaten and robbed in Chicago’s North Side, Ravenswood neighborhood, said police.

The victim was found on a corner at Damen and Sunnyside; which is approximately 4500 North Damen and 2000 West Sunnyside.

According to police, the man was attacked and robbed by two male Hispanics.

The offenders fled the scene northbound in a car of unknown make, model, or color.

The victim was transported to Swedish Covenant Hospital, 5145 North California Avenue, for medical treatment.
