VIDEO: Where are George Zimmerman's injuries?
Zimmerman supporters claim his nose was broken and his head was slammed against the pavement the night he confronted and shot Trayvon Martin to death... but a recently released police surveillance video doesn't support their accusations.
In the video, there are no visible signs of trauma to Zimmerman's face or head.
At one point, a police officer examines the back of the Florida neighborhood watch captain's head, then shrugs his shoulders.
It's been reported that paramedics treated Zimmerman at the scene of the shooting... but that doesn't explain Zimmerman's neat appearance.
If he was attacked the way he said he was, I doubt Zimmerman's shirt would still be tucked neatly in his pants.

Simple answers:
ReplyDeleteHe was treated at the scene by paramedics, who would have cleaned up all the blood on his face & back of his head. In today's litigous society, they absolutely would clean up any blood before releasing him to police custody.
A broken nose is like a broken rib - not a lot of things you can do to treat it. If it wasn't continuously bleeding, there would be no need for bandages.
As far as bruising, it's common knowledge that bruises don't form immediately, it takes several hours for the blood cells under the skin that were damaged to clot, which gives the dark red/purple bruise you get when injured.
In terms of his coat, moisture on it from being on the ground can dry pretty easily, especially if that coat is any type of "weather-resistent" (like a North Face windbreaker, which that may be).
Though the best answers will come out once we read the affidavits from the parameds who treated him at the scene - they surely were deposed, and or gave some type of statement about Zimmerman's injuries, treatment, and physical condition, at the scene. And if not, they absolutely will have been deposed & interviewed by the atty's on both sides, by the time the grand jury convenes next month.
BTW, does anybody know what time this video was shot? It seems that the incident happened around 715 at night, and there is no visible time stamp on this (based on the quality of the recording, and the shaking of the camera, it looks like someone at Sanford PD used a cell phone to record this off of a computer, then sold it to ABC News).
With all his alleged injuries, like the stories about his nose being broken, you expect to see some blood spattered clothing no?
ReplyDeleteIs the rumor true that this mans father is a retired judge? That would explain a lot. We have seen this type of clouted privilege game before if it is.
Zimmerman, the mexican...like Arnolds kid will never get a speeding ticket...
ReplyDeleteYah, too many loose ends here.
i cant help but think that if someone slammed my head on the pavement, to the extent that I would pull a gun and shoot him, that I would have gone with the paramedics...to hospital.

ReplyDeleteI googled "George Zimmerman father judge," and found an article that his father is Robert Zimmerman, a retired US Magistrate Judge (which means he's on the federal level, so wouldn't have contact with state level courts at all). His father apparently practiced in the State (well technically Commonwealth) of Virginia, so I'm not sure how deep the connections from a state appellate court in Virginia run down to the local police in small town Florida.
state appellate court in Virginia
ReplyDeleteOops, I meant, federal appellate court in VA.
CNN had on Mr Justus of the American Justus league this moring and according to Mr Justus, Mr. Zimmerman's claim of self defense would fall under the writ of habeous corpus....
ReplyDeleteMr justus sounds like a buffoon! WRIT THIS!
ReplyDeleteSounds like anonymous at 1:33 pm doesn't believe in the concept of, "Due Process of Law," you know, the right guaranteed to all people who may be charged with a crime on Americal soil?
ReplyDeleteYou know, the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution (part of what's commonly known as the "Bill of Rights," which is the document this country was founded on??)?
Let's hope for your sake that you never are in a situation that calls for your excercising the right of due process - it sounds like you oppose that right.
I like how all that racist tomfoolery has seemed to camlm down, wheres the butthat that knows it all? Seems like folks are keeping quiet, mqybe its the foot in mouth syndrome. I read that the da in fl is sayn it will prolly be an arrest before and without a gran jury. Hmph, i shuldnt let the clowns on cnr, the online version of jerry springer get to me, also have u noticed alot of the visitors aint from chi? ReplyDeleteRoseann barr tweets the real addy of zimmermans parents.......... This might get interesting, i wuld love to tweet some of these tools addys.........#teamblackberry
ReplyDeleteA chode? So the person who put that up is, "a penis wider than it is long?" (from Urban Dictionary).
ReplyDeleteThat's just stupid. If you want to live in a country that doesn't have things like law or a justice system, move to Haiti. Or most of the African continent. Then see how you like it when you have no constitutionally protected rights, especially from the state.
Though if you went to those countries, I think you would end up sucking on a lot of "chodes" while you rot away in prison.
But Zimmermans cousin said on public record that he was "in the fight for his life" this vid does not support his cousin or fathers claims. Im starting to smell a fish.

ReplyDeleteHow can you tell, from a grainy, soundless video that doesn't even contain a direct image of Zimmerman, what the severity of the fight was?
You can't. You can only come to that conclusion in your mind, because it's the conclusion you want to come to.
There is a mark on the back of his head at 1:07 in the video. To me it looks like a gash that was stitched up (presumably by paramedics). It isnt really visible at any other time so who knows, maybe its a glitch, or maybe the footage is just not clear enough to see a cut on someones head
ReplyDeleteEh. It’s not like he has to have catastrophic injuries for a shooting to be justified. If he was about to lose consciousness, that is enough.
ReplyDeleteThere’s still not enough information at this point to say for sure. Time will tell.

Well, we see which conclusion you have arrived at. You can determine a lot from this video. This man does not look like someone who had his head repeatedly bashed in to the ground.

ReplyDeleteThat poster didn't arrive at any conclusion other than, that the video is inconclusive.
But like that person said, you've already made up your mind that Trayvon Martin was the little 12 year old boy who had never handled anything more dangerous than Skittles, not the truth that he was a hulking, muscular, fully grown, gold grilled gangster thug who was on his third suspension this school year from his new school, this time ten days for drug dealing, after he had been expelled from his previous school.
Don't let anything like facts (about Trayvon's lifestyle) get in the way, and of course, don't even bother to read what the other poster put up, but rather read that person's comment then make up that the person said something he/she didn't.
To 10:34 pm last night - all that the person you're replying to said is, the video is inconclusive. Which is also the general, overall sentiment of this video (watch the CNN report on this, an agency that absolutely has a left leaning agenda, they agree that the video doesn't prove or disprove anything), that it cannot say whether he did or didn't have visible injuries when he went to the police station. We don't know how long after the incident this video was taken, but we do know that he had been treated by paramedics at the scene.
ReplyDeleteSo literally, all you did is take the exact statement that person made, and the point that person was making to the original commentor, and try to turn it into something that wasn't said.
What's the word for that again? Oh yeah, it's liberalism. Which means that you do stuff like:
1) Deny verified evidence (the statements from the eyewitness that Zimmerman was getting beaten, and the police report that he needed medical attention at the scene) if they don't fit your agenda;
2) Make up conclusions, such as here, determining that the poster didn't say anything other than this video is inconclusive; and,
3) Ignore all the verified evidence about the character of the "victim," here, Trayvon, that he was a drug dealing, physically aggressive, multiple school discipline problem, and instead believe the picture that he was an innocent little 12 year old boy who had never touched anything more dangerous than a bag of Skittles.
PS - what do you have to say about the riot at a Walgreen's that was done by N. Miami HS students immediately after they walked out of their school "in solidarity" with Trayvon. Or do you deny that that happened, too?
STORY UPDATE:
ReplyDeleteTrayvon is still dead!!!!!
Black people still killing other black people MUCH FASTER THAN WHITE PEOPLE ARE.
Idiot monkeys cant even get their own house in order...
