  1. Regarding the "Man holds burglar at knife point" . A man just broke in to one of my neighbors apartments on Barry and Broadway. Luckily there were two people in the apartment. The tenant confronted the burglar in his livingroom and asked what he wanted and he said "money" so he goes in to his bedroom and closes his door. The burglar tries to force his way in as the mans girlfriend calls the police. The burglar made off with an electronic item. LAKEVIEW NEEDS TO WAKE UP. This is going to continue unless you say something and do something.

  4. From what I heard my neighbor tell the cops it was a tall built black man. The police claim that they saw him a half hour before this happened on Belmont and Broadway. The fingerprint technician at his apartment right now. Hopefully they get some prints. I also heard the detectives say that it has been going on for a few years now (to which I can attest to) and that they know that people will not just stay quiet if it keeps happening.
