VIDEO: West Side socialite explains how she held a knife to a man's throat!

In 2013, the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) plans to shutdown the south end of the Red Line to complete much-needed renovations.

Many commuters are hoping and praying the temporary closures will discourage some of the city's less desirable residents from venturing downtown and into the city's Near North and North Side neighborhoods.

However, we're not so sure CTA's temporary construction will have any impact on the level of ignorance most of us are subjected to on the city's public transportation system.

For example: The woman in the following video is from Chicago's West Side. We're sure she, and others like her, won't have any trouble getting downtown or anywhere else in the city.

  4. This is why I refuse to take any public transportation. I don't need the stress of dealing with these insane and dangerous animals.
