4 North Center homes catch fire

Early Tuesday morning, four homes caught fire in Chicago's North Center neighborhood, on the city's North Side.

The fire occurred around 1 a.m. and quickly spread to 1916 West Larchmont Avenue, 1920 West Larchmont Avenue, 1924 West Larchmont Avenue, and 1928 West Larchmont Avenue - south of Irving Park Road, according to police dispatch reports.

Citing preliminary information, several people were displaced by the fire and at least one person was unaccounted for.

As of 2:21 a.m., firefighters were still trying to extinguish the blaze.
