Men found ‘covered in blood’ in Rogers Park apartment


Police are investigating an incident in a North Side apartment building.

At approximately 2:50 a.m., an anonymous caller reported an assault at 6822 North Ashland Avenue in Rogers Park.

The caller said there was an altercation in a third floor unit.

When police arrived, they found two Hispanic men lying on the floor, covered in blood.

At one point, a Spanish interpreter was called to the scene.

An ambulance was also requested.

A witness saw two male Hispanics fleeing the apartment through a back door. 

One man was wearing all black clothing. The other suspect was wearing a red and gray striped shirt and a red hat.

Both offenders are approximately 5’6” and in their mid-twenties.

Police are investigating.
