The neighborhood is full of Latin Kings and has been for over 20 years. They have been at war with black gangs near the Pratt & Clark/Ashland area a few blocks away and several of the gang incidents have been in the news lately.
ReplyDeleteThe videotaped attack at Sullivan by two black sisters (actual sisters) on a freshman Hispanic girl has probably served to heighten tensions. By all accounts, it was not gang related.
Chicago Kid, thank you for reminding me about the girl fight at Sullivan. It completely slipped my mind!
ReplyDeleteCan we deport these Hispanic Gangs please...How many of these scum bags are illegal???
ReplyDeleteMost of the latin kings are citizens, just because they are hispanics doesnt mean they are illegal! If they were illegal, most of them would have been deported by now ...
