Boystown: Strong arm robbery near Belmont and Pine Grove
A woman fled to the Boystown, Lakeview neighborhood Walgreens at 3201 North Broadway, after she was attacked and robbed, said police.
According to preliminary information, the strong arm robbery occurred on the 3100 block of North Pine Grove Avenue, around 2:38 a.m.
Investigators said three men in a small four-door vehicle approached the victim while she was walking down the sidewalk.
A white male passenger exited the car, attacked the woman, and stole her purse, said police.
The getaway vehicle was last seen going southbound on Pine Grove Avenue.
The extent of the victim’s injuries, if any, are unknown.
As of 3:05 a.m., there was no indication an ambulance was called to the Boystown Walgreens.

It's really out of hand here in one of Chicago's "better neighborhoods". Property values/rental rates will plummet even further. I'm out. Just discussed this with the VP at my place of employment. Not worth living here - at all.
