Police located the victim on the 3600 block of North Lake Shore Drive, around 11:10 p.m., Tuesday.
According to one source, the man was assaulted near the Kwagulth Indian Totem Pole in Lincoln Park, located at Lake Shore Drive and Addison Street in the East Lakeview neighborhood.
Investigators said four men, two Hispanics and two African Americans, were responsible for the assault.
After the attack, the offenders fled southbound on the bike trail, said police.
The injured man was taken to Thorek Hospital, 850 West Irving Park Road, for medical treatment.
The extent of the victim’s injuries are unknown. However, one report indicated the victim was bleeding from the elbow.

ReplyDeleteWell, I guess since the black ghetto thugs are getting all the bling, the hispanic ghetto thugs figured they should join forces. I was under the impression that hispanics hated blacks or is that the mexicans? What does it matter, a ghetto thug is a ghetto thug. People think this is a common event because of the economy? Because jobs aren't around? Ha, they wouldn't work if there were hiring sign on every business. Why? Because they make more money robbing, mugging and burglarizing innocent people and they don't have to punch a time clock! Perhaps if we hadn't become a "PC" society or become so apathetic, we wouldn't be where we're at now. "PC" and "Integration" the worst words in the english language.

ReplyDeleteWhat people don't seem to realize is a new civil war is brewing, and it's going to be whites against blacks and hispanics, it's going to take a lot to defuse this situation before it gets out of hand. Civil liberties will be trampled upon and the country will be a lot less free before this is all over. Somebody dig up MLK and bring him back to life quick
