2nd robbery near Broadway Armory Park in 2 months


A man was robbed at the same location where a woman was robbed nearly two months ago, and that’s not the only similarity.

According to police dispatch, at approximately 1:37 a.m., a man was robbed on the 5900 block of North Broadway, near Broadway and Rosedale.

The man was attacked from behind and robbed, said police.

The victim said the offenders were two black men.

After the robbery, the suspects fled southbound on Broadway.

At the time of this report, no arrests had been made.

On June 30, 2011, a woman was robbed at the same location.

She was also mugged by two black male offenders.

    I'm sure they headed back to their enclave on Thorndale. It always amazes me how on a busy street, these brazen ghetto thugs get away. We need to step up and give them a taste of their own medicine and beat the hell ut of them if we see them attacking innocent victims. Better yet, we need the ability to CC to at least make them think twice.
