Police look for suspect in West Ridge robbery
Police are investigating a robbery in Chicago’s West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood.
A man was dropped off on the 6400 block of North Ridge Avenue, when he was robbed around 2:54 a.m., said police.
The thief was described as a Hispanic man, weighing approximately 230 pounds.
The offender, who was last seen wearing black shorts and a white shirt, stole the victim’s cell phone, said police.
After the robbery, the crook fled westbound on Devon from Ridge Avenue.
Investigators said the offender may have been armed with a weapon.
