A South Side woman’s day got off to a bad start, when a thief snatched her purse.
The crime was reported at 9:12 a.m. and occurred on the 7200 block of South Sangamon Street in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.
The suspect, described as a tall, skinny African-American man, snatch the woman’s red purse and escaped through a nearby gangway.
The purse contained $125.00.
Police are investigating.
