At 8:17 p.m., a citizen reported gunfire in the area of 2210 North Keystone Avenue in the Chicago, Hermosa community.
Officers found the shooting victim lying in an alley behind the aforementioned address.
Police approaching the crime scene were asked to turn off their lights and sirens.
So far, the condition, age, and sex of the shooting victim, has not been disclosed.
