Nanny Andrea del Pilar Aguilar charged with choking, shaking baby

The parents of a 15-month-old girl, videotaped their former nanny, 31-year-old Andrea del Pilar Aguilar, shaking and choking their daughter, said authorities.

The shockingly violent act, which occurred February 18, 2011, was caught on a hidden camera (nanny-cam).

The 31-year-old suspect has been charged with aggravated battery to a child.

According to CBS Chicago news, Andrea del Pilar Aguilar's last known address is 2610 West Berwyn Avenue.

An Internet search shows the address belongs to a religious organization called the Monastic Society.

    This is tragic and this woman has anger issues that she took out on a helpless child. I sure hope that baby doesn't have an negative affects from that abuse.

    People who harm children, elderly people, and animals, are at the top of my "most disliked" list.

    It took all the strength I had, not to inject my personal feelings into this article.

    I hope the little girl involved in this tragic story grows up, and leads a "normal", healthy life.

    As for the "Nanny no-no", I hope she gets whatever punish and psychological help, the law deems necessary.
