The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. at 650 East 79th Street, near the corner of East 79th Street and South Langley Avenue.
The male offender was taken to Stroger Hospital with multiple stab wounds on his back. The female victim had minor cuts on one of her arms, said police.
Based on information obtained by Chicago News Report, the stabbing occurred in the kitchen - where large amounts of blood were found on the walls, cabinets, and floor.
A motive for the attack was not disclosed.
The offender’s condition is unknown and the victim’s injuries didn't require immediate medical attention.

" a man described by police as an “offender”,...what exactly does that mean? Did he break in? Did she let him in and he didn't hear the word "NO"? I'm curious about this "crime" IF she was protecting herself against a burglar, than WAY TO GO!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing this was a boyfriend, girlfriend situation - the police didn't say. They gave no indication the stabbing was related to a home invasion.
ReplyDeleteI mentioned the fact that the person who was seriously injured was the offender, so people wouldn't assume he was a victim.
