Around 4:04 a.m., a delivery driver for a Mexican restaurant was robbed at gunpoint.

The driver, who works for Taqueria El Ranchito at 2829 North Milwaukee Avenue, was robbed at 711 North Trumbull Avenue, while attempting to make a delivery.

According to the victim, an African-American gunman stole the food he was delivering and his cell phone.

The thief is approximately 5’8” and 25 to 30-years-old. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

After the robbery, the crook ran between the gangway, next to the house.

  1. Like I've said before, pretty soon there won't be anyone willing to make deliveries on the south and west sides for fear of being robbed or shot and that's too bad for the law abiding contributing people in those areas.
I guess this ghetto thug was "hungry" and needed to make a "call"...at someone else expense.
